Sometimes stupid and cute is enough! Luka is a Kalosian office worker who recently packed up to start fresh in Hoenn. She's trying her best as a fledgling trainer but has absolutely no idea what she's doing, all with a team of baby pokemon at her side. She has no idea what she wants to do with her life at this point, torn between wanting to try her hand at both battling and contests, or maybe something else entirely! In the meantime, she still works a relatively mundane job, doing PR for an organization known for it's research into egg hatching, in-group battling, and setting up little bases for members to collect supplies and Pokeballs. Cheerful, kindhearted and just a little bit annoying, she's eager to meet new pokemon, make new friends and get swept up in adventure!

A STRANGER IS JUST A FRIEND YOU HAVEN'T MET YET

Having moved around a lot as a child, Luka is used to being the new kid and town and is used to making friends quickly so she isn't lonely. She makes for a sweet and dependable friend, though most only know her at a surface level. Luka appears one-dimensional and a little vapid on the surface, but that's mostly so people don't probe too deep: she doesn't want to burden anyone with her feelings of sadness or loneliness. She's extremely kind and friendly though, always with a smile on her face and always eager to make other people happy. Though she can sometimes be overbearing, she's just excited about meeting new people and making new friends. [break][break]
Looking for: Childhood friends, new friendships, her best friend (will be making a wanted ad for him!), mentors/trainers to help her on her journey!

It is extraordinarily hard for Luka to dislike someone: she has the patience of a saint and tends to be overly trusting of strangers. She gives second chances to those who don't deserve them, and is the type to set herself on fire to keep others warm. As it is, it's far easier for someone else to dislike her. Her personality can be overly sweet and is bound to grate on people, and all that peppiness can potentially be irritating! She's also rather naïve and unfortunately easy to trick or manipulate, leading to the possibility of her getting into a bad situation with someone.[break][break]

Despite being a hopeless romantic, Luka has always had bad luck in romantic relationships. The poor thing just can't catch a break! It's partially her own doing: she develops crushes very easily and quickly on those that are kind to her, though these don't tend to last very long. She also tends to be the orchestrator of her own heartbreak, falling for people she can't be with/don't return her feelings. She's had a bit of experience with relationships, though they've all ended in heartbreak or a bittersweet mutual understanding. Even so, she still remains just as love-struck and optimistic, certain that someday she'll find true love.[break][break]
Looking for: Crushes, unrequited love, ex-lovers, an actual relationship (I prefer to ship with chemistry after characters have interacted, but am open to feeling things out!)
